Four detached holiday villas in West Crete, located between 2 neighbouring villages, yet close to both so you can easily enjoy their facilities. It is the ideal location if you value your privacy yet wish to be conveniently within a few minutes from restaurants, bars, beach and minimarkets. Our villas (each with a private pool) are surrounded by mature olive trees in 5 acres (22,000 metres square), gated and fenced to ensure your privacy. Unlike some holiday villas in West Crete, which are often built uncomfortably close together, there are at least 60 metres of gardens each separating 3 houses and 30 metres separating the 4th. No shared barbeques! No shared pools!

Just 3 minutes by car (25 minute walk) is Almirida Bay for safe, sandy beaches, watersports, seafront shops and a dozen good restaurants. In the other direction, the traditional village of Gavalochori is a pleasant 12 minute walk, where you will find 3 tavernas, several bars, a coffee-house (open until late at night for delicious cakes and pastries), 2 mini-markets, a women's co-operative (for hand-made goods) and historic Roman Wells. The rolling wooded hillside is recognised as among the most beautiful in Crete - especially in April & May when wild flowers are in bloom.

All bedrooms have balconies, with spectacular and uninterrupted open views of the surrounding valleys, mountains and some have sea views. The private pools are surrounded by large sun terraces so you have ample space to dine, relax and swim in comfort.

Parents! Our pools are fenced and gated to help you control access to the water, assisting the safety of toddlers and young children. As far as we are aware, no other villas in the area have similar safety features!

WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY Ideal for guests with limited mobility or restricted mobility and are ' transferable '. All villas have a ground floor double bedroom and shower room, with immediate access to kitchen/lounge. 3 steps maximum from patio to pool. Wheelchair ramp & disabled commode available. One villa is a bungalow with Roman steps down into the pool.
